XMMS Recorder
XMMS Recorder is an XMMS input plugin that records from your soundcard's input and sends audio
to the selected output. It can be used for recording audio to disk, or running a visualisation
on an input stream. XMMS Recorder works with OSS, eSounD and ALSA.
The new version, 0.3.0, includes proper communication with the visualisation, and an option to keep
the visualisation synchronised with the input by purging the buffer periodically.
News
Thursday, December 5th - It's alive! Allliiiivveeeeeeee!
XMMS Recorder has just changed hands (and been resurrected in the process!) - Tamás no longer has time to do anything with it, so I've taken over =)
I'm a Computer Science student at Monash University in Australia, just entering second year.
Feel free to send me any feature requests/bug reports, etc. and I'll see what I can do.
On another note, there's a new version out! I've added a bugfix which fixes a problem resulting in
most vis's showing three quarters of the display as a flat line, and added an option to purge
the buffer periodically in order to keep the visualisation synchronised with the input.
